Once again David Bain does not disappoint. Read Gray Lake in one day and the same with Death Sight. The Castleton Files were next and again read it in one night. When books are good like David Bain's then getting engaged in the story is a guarantee. Love Will Castleton's character. He's a decent man who get's an unconventional "gift" through a tragedy in his life. It rattles him at first but he digs deep and finds the strength to learn to use it and you develop quite a bit of respect for the character. This was a 100% winner in my opinion.Product details

I would like to recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a very interesting book. I am looking forward to reading the next book from this author.
Recommend this book to those who are already "hooked" on David Bain's series. Very suspenseful with many twists and turns in the plot. Until the end, the reader is in a quandary.
Decent writing and an OK story but a bit dull. Better than The Castleton Files, though.
Interesting and well written twist involving many of the "current" topics in fiction. That is to say, crime, detectives, paranormal and modern settings. Good work. I've read all of David Bain and love this one.
Mr. Bain does not disappoint. This is a hard hitting story that weaves together many elements gritty detective novel to the supernatural. The character development is excellent and you quickly "know" these people, and care about what becomes of them. The imagery created by Mr. Bain's storytelling draws you in to the point that you are living the story. Can't wait for the next one!
I really enjoyed this. I first read the compilation of short stories where the character of Will Castleton was center stage. He is an immensely likeable character and the situations are well developed. I put the book in the similar genre of a Dean Koontz thrilller. From me that is high praise as Koontz is my favorite living author.
This is my first novel to read about Will Castleton, and I will definitely purchase the others! Solid writing, great characters and back story. David Bain has a talent for writing that keeps you on the edge of your seat, or laughing with the characters, or grieving with the characters, whatever the situation calls for.
